Bisaya Gyud Partylist Wants Reimposition Of Death Penalty For Heinous Crimes

April 4, 2025, Cagayan de Oro City_1st nominee Greco Belgica of Bisaya Gyud partylist Friday said that their partylist favors the reimposition of the death penalty for heinous crimes and corruption.

Belgica bewailed the unbridled return of illegal drugs after former President Rodrigo Duterte's term and rampant corruption. Belgica also noted the surge in criminality, which he said remains unchecked and mostly unsolved.

Belgica, former chairman of the Presidential Anti-Crime Commission, also lamented that red tape is back and should be addressed.

Bisaya Gyud Partylist aims to legislate bills to help generate 7 million jobs through the establishment of global cities in the Visayas and Mindanao regions.

Bisaya Gyud Partylist is bent on giving back dignity to the Filipino workforce and will also push for additional infrastructure and allied services once these global cities or special economic zones are in place. These onputs would, in turn, would revive the economy.

Belgica also emphasized that once Bisaya Gyud Partylist is elected into the lower house, Visayas and Mindanao residents would no longer be treated as second class citizens.
