The Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (COCPO) and Liceo de Cagayan University (LDCU) have formalized a partnership to elevate the On-the-Job Training (OJT) program for criminology interns. On February 5, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed by PCOL Salvador N. Radam, City Director of COCPO, and Dr. Lemuel C. Edrolin, Dean of LDCU’s School of Criminal Justice, at COCPO Headquarters. This collaboration aims to provide criminology students with hands-on experience, preparing them for successful careers in law enforcement. The partnership underscores a shared commitment to developing highly skilled future law enforcement professionals. Through this initiative, students will gain invaluable exposure to real-world policing practices, enhancing their academic learning with practical application. By working alongside experienced officers, they will be better equipped to tackle the challenges of modern-day law enforcement and contribute effectively to community safety.
