February 13, 2025, Cagayan de Oro City_Congressman Lordan Suan of Cagayan de Oro's 1st District today decried fake and false news circulating in social media as a campaign to discredit him.
Speaking to reporters after turning over another of his priority projects in Barangay Lumbia, Suan said that these fake news are commissioned by "moneyed individuals or groups" on the local and national level. He added that inspite of these unscrupulous efforts to shame him, he remains focused on delivering projects and crafting quality legislation for his constituents and the country in general. Suan warned everyone to be extra vigilant and discerning, especially on news uploaded on social media.
Rep. Suan Thursday turned over a sepak takraw, volleyball, and basketball courts to the Lumbia National High School worth P5 million.
