Cagayan de Oro City_Students and facultyof Bayabas National High School, parents and residents can now enjoy the use of a multipurpose building after Congressman Lordan Suan officially turned over a P10M multipurpose building Saturday.
The edifice, complete with a wide stage, a linear bleacher on the left side, a lined canal and two fixed basketball rings, had been sought by its recipients for the longest time.
Former Punong Barangay and incumbent kagawad Eddie Abrogar received Congressman Suan's priority project with express gratitude, citing the desperate need of the school and residents for a flood-free venue for various events and an evacuation center in calamities.
The building was constructed and completed in 230 days by Cagalawan Enterprises, Inc., under the supervision of the 1st Engineering District under Engr. Ana Lee Manzano.
Department of Education officials, represented by School Division Superintendent Roy Gazo praised Working Congressman Suan for his dedication and concern for learners and faculty alike. For his part, School Principal Danny Labadan profusely thanked Representative Suan for the well-equipped facility.
Congressman Suan acknowledged all stakeholders of the project and led the unveiling of the brass marker as a memento of Suan's commitment to his constituents.
