COWD IGM Jarales Confident On Extension From LWUA

February 28, 2025, Cagayan de Oro City_COWD Interim General Manager Fermin Jarales is confident that documents confirming an additional 6 months extension of his and the interim board of directors' tenure in COWD from the Local Water Utilities Administration will be available today.

Interim General Manager Fermin Jarales smiles as he is interviewed by local media Friday concerning an extension of his stay for six more months at COWD as resoved by LWUA's Board of Trustees.

Thus was the assurance made by Jarales even as the regular COWD Board of Directors arrived at the water utility's premises to assume their erstwhile positions and to install Assistant General Manager Engineer Edna Najeal as regular General Manager.

Jarales added that legal teams from LWUA and the Office of the Government Counsel are expected to arrive today to deliver the approved resolution from LWUA's Board of Trustees extending Jarales' and company's stay at COWD for an additional 6 months starting March 1 till August 31, 2025.
