March 27, 2025,Cagayan de Oro City_A kaleidoscope of purple and yellow colours pervaded the Atrium at Limketkai Mall Thursday afternoon as "Lihok Katawhan, Panaghiusa Sa Hapsay Nga Cagayan" proclamation rally was launched with a mammoth crowd in attendance.
Padayon Pilipino candidates for this city were led by comebacking mayor Oscar Moreno and relectionist 1st District Congressman Lordan Suan along with former councilor and vice mayoral hopeful Zaldy Ocon and the full slate of Sangguniang Panglungsod aspirants.
Also called on stage were sectoral representatives like labor, senior citizens, LGBTQ, fisherfolk, farmers, PWDs, among others, who each challenged the candidates to address their individual concerns and issues.
The candidates then responded with their plans if elected and incumbents also highlighted their accomplishments for these sectors.
