Mayor Klarex Thanks Rotary Clubs For Medical Equipment Donation

         Mayor Rolando "Klarex" Uy expressed his gratitude during a turnover ceremony on January 25 for the generous donation of medical equipment to the JR Borja City Hospital (JRBGH). The donation, consisting of two neonatal mechanical ventilators, one incubator, and one radiant warmer, was made by two Rotary Clubs: District 3710 of the Rotary Club of Gwangju Moran in South Korea and District 3870 of the Rotary Club of Kalayaan in Cagayan de Oro.The donated equipment will be placed in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of JRBGH, significantly improving the hospital’s capacity to care for newborns in critical condition. In his brief address, Mayor Klarex thanked both Rotary Clubs for their invaluable support, noting that such contributions are vital in enhancing the healthcare services available to the people of Cagayan de Oro.

"This donation is a testament to the strong bonds of friendship and cooperation between our city and our international partners. It will undoubtedly make a positive impact on the lives of many families," Mayor Klarex remarked during the ceremony.

The turnover ceremony was attended by representatives from both Rotary Clubs and local officials, marking another successful collaboration in the ongoing efforts to improve healthcare services in Cagayan de Oro. Mayor Klarex further emphasized the importance of such partnerships in fostering sustainable development, particularly in the healthcare sector. He expressed confidence that this donation would be just one of many efforts to strengthen the city’s healthcare infrastructure, ensuring that more families receive the quality medical care they deserve.
