March 7, 2025, Cagayan de Oro City_"Dahil naawa si Senator Bong Revilla sa mga mag-aaral na hindi pinapayagang mag-exam dahil walang permit, gumawa siya ng batas na ipinagbawal ang ganitong patakaran sa mga paaralan", thus said Congresswoman Lani Mercado Revilla as she represented her husband in Friday's Mindanao Public Transportation Summit in this city.
Rep. Lani added that Senator Bong Revilla could not fathom the shame being experienced by students who cannot take exams due to fonancial hardships so he authored this law. Cong. Lani further said that erring schools will be penalised.
On the other hand, Ms. Lani expounded on Senator Revilla's law that grants nighttime differential pay to government workers. She said that the sacrifices of night duty employees should be given priority so Senator Bong addressed this concern thru this legislation.
Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla is gunning for relection this May.
