Oca To Cabanlas: "Lamlam Kanang Inyong Gipasumangil Kanako"

April 4, 2025, Cagayan de Oro City_"Cabanlas is making propaganda, he is accusing me of not finishing the projects I started," said former city mayor Oscar Moreno. Moreno was referring to public remarks of incumbent councilor Edgar Cabanlas blaming Moreno for non-completion of hospitals and schoolbuildings in different barangays in the city, and allegedly implying that Moreno benefitted from these undertakings.

"Mao nga ang akong tubag kanila, lamlam kanang tanan gipahamtang kanako. Ang tinood kay naay access road padulong sa Tablon hospital, nagsabot na kami ni Kapitan Auza ug ang mga nanag-iya sa mga luna para sa access road pero wala tiwasa sa administrasyon nilang Klarex Uy aron lang madaut ako. Ang uban nga mga proyekto, sama sa Lumbia hospital, wala tiwasa ni Uy aron lang maulawan ako", added Moreno.

Attorney Moreno said that if only Mayor Klarex Uy applied continuity in governance as agreed between Moreno and Uy in 2022, there would be no issues raised. Moreno also emphasized that if Uy finished the projects Moreno started, as agreed, the credit would be Moreno's.

Former CdeO Mayor Oscar Moreno Friday meets with Persons With Disabilities at the Little Me Academy in Barangay Consolacion. Beside Moreno is Ike Olandesca who is running for councilor in the city's 2nd district.

Oscar Seriña Moreno is seeking a comeback as mayor of Cagayan de Oro in next month's midterm elections.
