Match 27, 2025, Cagayan de Oro City_Now that the Commision On Elections has lifted the ban on outreach programs of local government units, hundreds, if not more than a thousand by day's end, of Kagay-anons and even those residing nearby, trooped to the city hall quadrangle to avail of free medical and other services.
Manned by the mayor himself, Rolando "Klarex Uy, all departments attended to needy clients, be they availing of free medical check-ups, medicine, financial assistance, burial and even legal advice and notarization.

For free medical services and medicine, clients only need prescriptions, abstract papers, barangay indigency certificates, and valid identification cards. For burial assistance, batangay certificates of indigency must be submitted.

Ambulances are on hand for emergency cases, with medical personnel on board.

From morning till the end of day, Mayor Klarex Uy payiently and respectfully attended to needy individuals, and oftentimes sharing his personal financial resources.

Every Thursday, Mayor Klarex Uy selflessly commits his time for People's Day, where everyone is welcome, regardless of political color or religion.
As Mayor Klarex aptly puts it, "Ang gobyerno duol sa katawhan, ang katawhan duol sa gobyerno".
