Cagayan de Oro City_Congressman Lordan of this city's 1st District Sunday expressed his dismay over Philhealth's alleged disappointment after the state-run health insurer's 2025 additional budget was disapproved.
Cong. Suan said that Philhealth's proposed 2025 budget includes its surplus of over 600 billion pesos.
"Philhealth would then have funds that will not be utilized, it will just be set aside," added Rep. Suan
Suan also dispelled allegations that the AKAP incentive of the government will not in any way disrupt nor affect Philhealth's budget, stressing that there has been a reduction for AKAP's 2025 allocation as compared to 2024's budget.
