In Region X, one woman's journey is a story of hard work, dedication, and success. In a field often led by men, Regional Director Lilibeth N. Aparecio, DM, has paved a path where women drive the blueprint of progress and lead the future of infrastructure.
She began as a Civil Engineering Aide II at Lanao del Norte 1st District Engineering Office (DEO) in 1983. She steadily moved up, becoming Acting District Engineer of Misamis Oriental 2nd DEO in 2014 and later earning the full title. In 2015, she was honored as Outstanding District Engineer, and under her leadership, the DEO ranked among the Top 10 in Disbursement Rate for three straight years, from 2018 to 2020.
Today, Engr. Aparecio takes on the role of DPWH X Regional Director, where her dedication and expertise continue to shape the future of the region’s infrastructure. Her journey proves that women can lead and build a lasting impact with passion and perseverance.
